Pontresina has two modern public parking garages, “Rondo” and “Mulin”, as well as numerous other public parking spaces. Arriving by car<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pontresina can be reached comfortably and safely from northern Switzerland, Ticino, Italy or Austria on well-maintained Alpine roads. From Zurich you travel in 2.5 hours, from Milan in 3.5 hours and from Munich in 4 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can reach the valley via the Maloja, Julier, Ofen or Bernina passes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Arriving by train<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) will bring you comfortably and reliably from the traffic hub Zurich to Chur with modern intercity trains. From the capital of Graub\u00fcnden, the Rhaetian Railway’s rail routes into the Upper Engadine, with their helical tunnels and dizzying viaducts, are among the most picturesque and interesting in all of Europe. The UNESCO World Heritage label and famous railroad classics such as the Glacier Express and Bernina Express speak for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
